Ingredients

For 2 portion(s)

2 servings of steamed Chinese noodles
10 prawns (net weight 120–130g)
salt & pepper, to taste
100g bean sprouts
5 stalks chives (50g)
2 eggs
vegetable oil, as needed
For boiling noodles:
(A) 1 tsp chicken broth mix
(A) 1 tsp grated garlic
(A) 300ml water
For seasoning:
(B) 1 tbsp Kikkoman Less Salt Soy Sauce
(B) 2 tsp Kikkoman Oyster Sauce
(B) 2 tsp sugar

  1. Remove the shells and veins from the prawns, leaving the tails intact. Rub them with cornstarch and salt (both not included in the main ingredients), then rinse under running water and pat dry.
Cut the chives into 5 cm lengths.
    Beat the eggs until smooth.
  2. Heat 2 tsp of vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Pour in the beaten eggs, stirring gently. Once the eggs start to set, remove them from the pan.
  3. Lightly wipe the frying pan with a paper towel, then add a bit more oil. Cook the prawns, seasoning with salt and pepper. Stir-fry for about 2 minutes, until the prawns change color.
  4. Add the Chinese noodles and (A) to the pan. Once it starts to boil, reduce the heat slightly, then add the bean sprouts and chives. Cover and steam for about 3 minutes.
  5. Add (B), then return the eggs to the pan and stir-fry everything together for about 1 minute.
